Henry Bowman - Owner, General Manager

C&L Wood Products was originally founded in 1975 by Lewis Wilson. In January 1996, Henry Bowman took ownership of C&L. As a former Navy helicopter pilot and commercial banker at First Union Bank, Henry brought with him an extensive background in management and accounting. Under Henry's leadership and the dedication of superb employees, C&L Wood Products has more than tripled in size since 1996. He has completed the Virginia Tech Pallet Design System and Unit Load Courses.

Henry is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Henry and his wife, Blythe, are active members of First Bible Church in Decatur, AL and are parents of four daughters.

James Giles - Plant Manager

Under the management of James Giles, the production at C&L Wood Products continues to surpass expectation. James is a "hands-on" plant manager who leads by example. James is a master welder and ran the fabrication division at several area plants before joining C&L.

James is a former Air Force F-4 mechanic and continues to enjoy building and flying personal aircraft in his spare time. He and his wife, Julie, live in the Hartselle area and devote some of their time to breeding and raising Schnauzers.
